CESURA - SUPPORT US CAMPAIGN

Since the day our group came together under the name of CESURA, the people who believed in our project and mission made a huge difference helping us reach our goals. With the SUPPORT US campaign we ask for your help to directly support our projects, our independent publishing house and our Lab. Choose among three available memberships and look out for our first collaboration with artist Paolo Ventura who handcrafted and gifted us with a poster inspired by our motto: NEVER NEVER NEVER GIVE UP

ROBERT FRANK, PABLO, NEW YORK CITY 1958

Thanks to my friend Anna Zimm for sharing always beautiful things on her instagram.
“When people look at my pictures I want them to feel the way they do when they want to read a line of a poem twice.” - Robert Frank
For me this portrait of Pablo is one of those pictures, yes it is a „sad“ picture, especially knowing how much Pablo struggled later in his life, but it is beautiful ...like a melancholic song which you want to hear again and again….

ALL THE THINGS THAT SEEMED SO IMPORTANT

“All the things that seemed so important” is my new series selected among the winners of Refocus 2, an open call about post-pandemic stories.
The series is about the long summer days of a group of kids who, after months spent at home, decided to get together to build a secret shed along the shores of a creek. This place became a barrier between them and the world of others, a place where they could be themselves or just spend time alone. Confined in the place of their choice, they spend a few weeks there until, as in any adolescent fire, the flame of interest cools to move to other places, situations and adventures.

Can’t wait for fairs to be “real” again. I miss travelling with books a lot. In the meanwhile take a look HERE.
